Players dont even need to pick an opponents card to damage, as some cards in Lorcana grant benefits that more than make up for the loss of the character - especially emerald ink cards, such as Lyle Tiberius Rourke, Cunning Mercenary - which forces an opponent to lose a lore every time one of your characters is banished - or even Milo Thatch, King of Atlantis: forcing all your opponents to return all their character cards to their hands
Her only reason for being in this deck is as a cheap shift target for Kakamora Leader, and if she gets banished you may be stuck having to pay the full seven mana to get your win condition out
Even if it's no small price for the One Winged Angel chase card himself, Sephiroth's detailed card art and incredibly flavorful abilities are hard to beat
