Obviously, the attack trigger is nice, but it also requires you to have some mana to actually cast the spell that you copy since it says Cast it, so you dont just stick the spell on the stack like effects that just say Copy target spell. Now, casting that spell is pretty nice, as it is effectively an extra card in your hand, and a 4/3 will often at least trade in combat, so you get a 2-for-1

Even 1 damage dealt to a creature from a source with deathtouch is considered lethal damage, so any amount greater than that will cause excess damage to be dealt, even if the total amount of damage isn't greater than the creature's toughness
