Games are played 1v1 in best of two matches (one match where player A goes first and another match where player B goes first), but the players who submitted the decks do not actually pilot the decks, instead, the games are played automatically under the assumption that both players have perfect information and will only make decisions that will lead to a win (or a tie/draw in the case where a win is not possible)
Its a level of versatility that the Pokmon TCG doesnt offer
This doesnt go in EVERY spellslinger deck, but it should go in every deck where the commander is a Wizard OR Shaman, which will almost always contain Red and will keep getting printed
Tatsugiri is a different color depending on its form - Curly, Droopy, or Stretchy - all of which are depicted on this card
After all the card effects are resolved, then the card is discarded
In fact, this is true for all the Final Fantasy Commander decks, something I was pleased to see
